In the spirit of helping out others during this time of year, Liedekerke decided to organize it's own "Warmest Week" in favour of a good cause, inspired by the Flemish initiative "De Warmste Week".
We called upon our culinary colleagues to bake or cook something for us to sell during lunchtime in our 'Fun Room'. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy their homemade treats in the holiday spirit an contribute to a good cause.

In relation to our activities in Central Africa, Vleugels van Hoop seemed like a valuable and fitting cause to support with our Warmest Week. Vleugels van Hoop is committed to helping people in the Central Africa-region (Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, Congo) by starting up and financing local projects, often with the aim to create jobs, further develop the local agriculture or the general support of the local community and their future.

Liedekerke's Warmest Week will take place from Monday to Thursday and close with a Christmas Breakfast on Friday, after which we will count our proceeds.
