Liedekerke welcomes Freya Mareels as a new partner in its Banking and Finance Practice Group

Brussels, September 2016 – Belgian law firm Liedekerke enhances its debt finance capabilities with the arrival of Freya Mareels. She joins the firm on 3 October as partner in its Banking and Finance Practice Group.

Freya specialises in banking and finance, with a focus on leveraged financing and general corporate lending (including asset based financing), real estate finance and debt restructuring. Freya has 10 years of experience in a top-tier Anglo-Saxon law firm. She acts for both lenders and borrowers and has extensive experience in cross-border transactions. In this context, Freya works with Belgian and international banks, corporates and private equity firms.

Freya’s arrival helps to further enhance Liedekerke’s growing Banking and Finance Practice. Liedekerke has been recognised internationally for its exceptional client service, outstanding work and impressive strategic growth.
