Q&A: COVID-19: impact on listed companies

The Q&A recalls and clarifies the position of the FSMA in its press release of 26 March 2020 and takes into account the Royal Decree n°4 of 9 April 2020 adopting a series of exceptional measures, including in the field of company law, in connection with the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Q&A addresses three topics: (1) communication about the consequences of COVID-19, (2) compliance with the obligation to provide periodic information, and (3) the convocation and holding of general meetings of shareholders, and communication in that regard.

EIB to launch new report on digitalisation in the EU and US

On Monday 20 April a new EIB report will be published on the EIB website, analysing investment in, and adoption of, digital technologies by firms in the EU and the United States and providing evidence of better performance of digital firms compared to non-digital ones. By providing country-level analytics the report will help countries to assess areas in which their firms perform well and the ones in which they might need policy reforms to better promote digitalisation.
