The University of Liège was honoured and delighted to host the 11th International Roman Law Moot Court Competition in Eupen-Liège this year. Professors and students from the Universities of Athens, Cambridge, Naples, Oxford, Trier, Tübingen and Vienna were present.

We were happy to be part of this beautiful moot court competition by sponsoring the “Liedekerke Gala Dinner” that took place on Friday 13th April 2018 in the Chapel, Kloster Heidberg in Eupen. During the dinner the team prize was presented to the winning team (Oxford) and individual prizes were granted for Best Oralist and Honourable Mention. Our lawyers Jean Pierre Kesteloot, Etienne Kairis and Bernard Vanbrabant distributed the prizes. The latter who is also Professor at the University of Liège inspired each participant with his witty introductory speech.

On behalf of our law firm, we congratulate the winners and all participants to this beautiful moot court competition!
