Bruno Hardy is a Senior Associate in the International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Practice.

He acts as counsel in international arbitrations, primarily in the areas of construction, distribution, and corporate disputes.

Bruno has represented clients in international arbitrations subject to various laws (England and Wales, Switzerland, Qatar, Lebanon, Belgium) and under the rules of various arbitration institutions. He has developed specific knowledge of international construction disputes in the Middle-East, and regularly advises clients in the construction industry in pre-arbitration negotiations and settlement discussions.

He also assists clients in arbitration-related court proceedings in Belgium and abroad (for both international investment and commercial arbitrations) and in multi-jurisdictional proceedings or proceedings subject to foreign laws (including the U.S., India, the U.K., France, Spain, Greece, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and Monaco). In addition, he advises Belgian and international clients on specific issues of conflicts-of-laws in non-contentious matters, and is an Assistant Lecturer in Private International Law at the University of Brussels (ULB).

Bruno graduated with an LL.M degree from Columbia Law School in New York (USA) in 2015. He obtained his first law degree from the University of Louvain in 2013 (UCL), and studied at the University of Geneva and at the Graduate Institute (IHEID) in Switzerland as an exchange student. Before joining Liedekerke in September 2015, Bruno worked as a Research assistant in International Economic Law at the Center for Philosophy of Law of the University of Louvain (UCL).
