Aurélien Vandeburie is a member of the Regulatory Practice Group. He specialises in administrative law, with particular skills in public tenders, public contracts, PPPs, public assets and economic public law. He represents private clients and public institutions before both administrative and civil courts at all levels. He has written numerous publications, mainly on public tender law and public assets. He regularly speaks on these subjects at conferences and colloquiums.

Aurélien holds a Law Degree from the University of Brussels (ULB 2004) and is a Doctor of Legal Sciences from the University of Namur (FUNDP 2013). His thesis was on public property and state lands. He was recognised as a specialist in administrative law and public tenders by decision of the French Order of the Brussels Bar on 18 December 2012.

Aurélien has been an assistant at Namur University (for constitutional law and public liberties) and a researcher for the Special Research Fund and at Hasselt University. He is presently Lecturer at the ULB for the Administrative law course, and lecturer for the course of Introduction to public law at the ICHEC.

He is a member of the editorial committees of a number of journals (Chroniques de droit public ; revue pratique de l’immobilier ; revue des contrats et des marchés publics ; revue générale de droit civil).

Aurélien joined Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick in 2013.
