Stéphane Wilmet specialises in tax law. His practice ranges from providing counsel on the organisation of assets and accounting issues to handling disputes between taxpayers and the tax authorities. He also focuses on the taxation of insurance companies and pension funds.

He is a visiting professor at the Haute Ecole Francisco Ferrer (Cooremans Institute), where he lectures on indirect taxes and VAT law. He has written various publications on tax law.

Stéphane Wilmet holds a law degree (1990) and a degree in tax law (1991), both from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He has been with Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick since 1991 and a partner since 2003.
