Simone Nudelholc
Simone Nudelholc specialises in estate planning – written and verbal opinions addressing the civil and tax aspects of transfers (inter vivos or mortis causa) of private assets and participating interests in companies, the preparation of deeds of gift and the negotiation of family settlements, examination of the deeds of settlement of foreign foundations or trusts. She also specialises in estate litigation (civil proceedings and, potentially, criminal proceedings ancillary to inheritance disputes).
In addition, she works with John Kirkpatrick in drafting petitions and pleadings in Cassation cases in all subject areas and handles criminal proceedings before that supreme court, notably with regard to corporate criminal law. She also appears before the Belgian Constitutional Court. Her publications primarily concern private law, as well as criminal procedure and tax law issues relating to estate planning.
Simone holds a law degree from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB – 1976). She teaches a specialist course on legal issues involving family estates at the ULB. She has been with Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick since 1977 and a partner since 1985.
