Philippe Malherbe

Philippe Malherbe has substantial experience in transactions from both the corporate and tax law points of view and is the author of numerous publications in both fields. He also focuses on telecommunications and energy law.

He teaches tax law and international business law at the Université catholique de Louvain (UCL) and European and international tax law at the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Fiscales.

He co-authors standard textbooks on company law and on corporate tax law (forthcoming).

Since November 2007, he has been one of two contact partners in charge of Liedekerke’s representative office in London.

Philippe Malherbe holds both an economics degree (1976) and a law degree (1977) from the UCLouvain and an LL.M. (1978) from the University of California at Berkeley. He has been practising at Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick since 1978 and has been a partner since 1985. He is a member of the firm's board of directors.
