Philippe Baudoux
Philippe Baudoux focuses his practice on the civil, commercial and public law aspects of banking activities in Belgium, particularly bank liability to clients and third parties, credit operations (credits to companies, mortgages and consumer credit), commercial paper (bills of exchange, cheques, etc.), and banking service contracts (accounts, lease of safety-deposit boxes, fund transfers, etc.).
His practice also extends to the areas of corporate and bankruptcy law, as well as information technology and commercial contracts and litigation.
He holds a law degree (1986) and a degree in economic law (1987) from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He has been a member of the Brussels bar since 1989. He was with Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick from 1994 to 2000 and has been a partner since 2003.
