Patrick della Faille specialises in company law and finance law, especially the financial markets law. He is therefore frequently consulted in relation to listings on the regulated and unregulated stock markets (Alternext, Marché Libre), private placements, public take-over bids and issues relative to public calls for savings. He also has sizeable experience in mergers and corporate acquisitions and in corporate finance.

Patrick della Faille has written numerous articles and several books, including on the valuation of mergers and corporate acquisitions (pub. Larcier) and on transposition of the MiFID Directive into Belgian law (pub. Anthemis).

Patrick della Faille is also a course leader at the Francisco Ferrer College. He holds a licentiate in law (UCL), a masters in business administration (IAG) and a diploma from the Belgian Association of Financial Analysts, of which he is a member. He has been a partner with Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick since 1 January 2008.
