She holds a law degree from the Vrije Universiteit Brussels (VUB) where she was a lecturer in criminal law and criminal procedure.

Magda has been an attorney since 1985 and joined Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick as a partner in 1991.
