An Jacobs' practice focuses on intellectual property law (primarily focusing on copyright and trademarks) and ICT law (Internet, e-commerce and data protection) as well as trade practices and commercial law in general. In all these areas she provides counsel, assists clients in drafting and negociating agreements and represents clients in litigation.

An holds law degrees from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL – 2001) and the University of London (LL.M. Queen Mary College, 2002). She joined Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick in 2002.
