Thomas Eyskens holds a law degree from the Universiteit van Antwerpen (1999) and a "Diplôme des études approfondies en droit public et administratif" from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (2000).

Thomas joined Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick in 2000, working primarily with Dirk Lindemans. Thomas has developed a well respected public and administrative law practice, focusing on urban development, environmental legislation, public employment and local authorities work. Thomas represents both private clients and public bodies before administrative and civil courts at all levels.

Thomas has written numerous academic articles and is a member of the editorial board of the journal of urban development ("Tijdschrift voor ruimtelijke ordening en stedenbouw") in Belgium.
