Pieter Van den Broeck
Pieter Van den Broeck assists clients on a day-to-day basis in all their corporate law challenges, In particular, he assists domestic and foreign clients in relation to restructuring operations and in mergers and acquisitions. In this area, he works a lot for foreign companies that want to establish operations in Belgium. Pieter also has great interest in the corporate law aspects of real estate transactions.
Where necessary, Pieter also assists clients in company law disputes (between shareholders and directors), in a bid to find constructive solutions, preferably out of court.
Pieter is very active in VOKA (Flanders’ Chamber of Commerce and Industry) for East-Flanders. He is also a member of Vlaams Pleitgenootschap (VPG) at the Brussels bar and AIJA (International Association of Young Lawyers).
Pieter Van den Broeck graduated as master of Laws at the University of Ghent (2001) (magna cum Laude) and graduated as Master-after-Master in company law at the Katholieke Universiteit Brussel and Leuven (2003) (magna cum laude).
Pieter started with the firm in 2001 and made Senior Attorney in 2008.
