Isabelle Buelens is active in various fields of European Community law and Belgian law, with a particular emphasis on competition law, distribution agreements, intellectual property, trade practices and advertising law. She advises and represents clients before European and national institutions and courts. She has written numerous articles on these matters.

She has a law degree from the KUL (1991) and an LL.M. in commercial law from King’s College in London (1992).

From 1995-2000, she was a part-time assistant at the Faculty of Law at the KU Leuven (KUL), teaching several aspects of competition law.

She joined the European and competition law department at Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick in 1994.

Isabelle Buelens is Member of the Brussels Bar.
