Dominique Van Bunnen
Dominique Van Bunnen focuses on distribution law (distribution agreements, agency), trade practices law (advertising, unfair competition), commercial contracts and commercial law litigation, and intellectual property rights.
He has specific expertise in the area of distribution in the automotive sector, both as an adviser and as a litigator. In 2007, he wrote a book (published by Larcier) examining the Belgian case law on automotive distribution in the period 1998 to 2005.
He graduated in law from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) in 1981, and the did a postgraduate year in business law at the Vrij Universiteit Brussel (VUB – 1981-1982).
He has been an attorney at the Brussels bar since 1983 and has worked as an associate in the commercial department at Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick since 1999.
