Katia De Loose
Katia De Loose is a transport law specialist, with a particular focus on aviation. She practises activity in English, French, and Dutch.
She holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve (2003) as well as an LL.M in Air & Space Law from the Dutch University of Leiden (2004).
She joined Liedekerke in October 2004.
In addition to her work at the Bar, Katia has gained experience in the legal department of an airline as an external consultant. She mainly manages claims - including their insurance and communication aspects -, ensures emergency responses to crisis situations and participates in the permanent updating of internal procedures, communication tools (i.a. the carrier’s website) and contractual documents in a constantly evolving commercial and regulatory environment.
